Description
Music is a reflection on life’s experiences. Good or bad, they mold us into who we are. In a
sense, my music is a story, told with melodies and rhythms rather than words. Odyssey, my
second piano album, is about finding peace in a world that offers none. It’s a story of learning
to cope with the challenges of daily life and choosing to rise above.
My music is largely inspired by nature, where I feel most at peace and closest to God.
The music cycles through periods of restlessness and renewal, anxiety and
rest. The middle of the album is a serene walk through some of my favorite places I have
visited in the last year, places like Sedona (“Canyons”) and green forest waterfalls in Seattle
(“Emerald”). The album concludes with Sunday Morning, a hymn-inspired song that imitates
the sounds of early morning in the spring.
I hope that by listening to this album, you find comfort for whatever phase of life you are going through.
